Dear Journal,
Today, I've pondered about what should my topic be for my IOP. I instantly nailed out The Stranger but mostly cause I couldn't fully understand existentialism and Meursault's character at all. And the book was just a little strange. Next, I considered Brave New World but i was afraid that I'd end up doing something similar to the dystopian presentation we had as a class just last week. So that was out. Their Eyes Were Watching God would've been good and i was anxious to do it. Sadly, most of my ideas were taken by different people in the class and what I did have left, I couldn't full work off of.
So now I'm left with Poetry as a whole........what a joy...... But seriously, I do enjoy poetry and when i have nothing better to do/when i feel inspirational, I write some. They suck but I take great pride in them. Anyways, so now I'm left with Poetry, Neruda and Ting (the next poet we'll examine). After some deliberation, I decided to try to combine both authors into one presentation and observe their similarities and differences. I'll also look at how they both use literary techniques and how both poets use them.
Well that's pretty much all I have in a nutshell. So far. But hey, maybe I'll somebody will give me some inspiration/intelligence and this wont turn out to be so bad after all. See ya later people who read this! Have a nice day and enjoy life!
